Car Proximity Radar helps identify vehicles in blind spots, with configurable HUD placement and audio cues. Try it with the camera view you normally use before deciding where its display belongs.
Pair the display with your camera
The official overview highlights the benefit for cockpit, hood and bumper views. The goal is an extra awareness cue. It does not make a car collision-proof or excuse ignoring the road and other players.
Suggested setup check
Choose an ordinary driving situation for calibration before relying on it in a busy race.
- Inspect the radar’s available display and audio options.
- Place the HUD where it does not cover a cue you already use.
- Drive beside another vehicle and compare what the cue tells you with the visible situation.
- Check whether audio cues add useful information for you.
- Revisit the placement after changing camera view or screen layout.
Use it to support clean racing
Our recommendation is to leave passing room when awareness is uncertain. The radar is one input alongside the track ahead, mirrors and surrounding vehicles; a cue should lead to a calmer decision rather than a sudden steering correction.

Does enabling radar change race eligibility?
This guide describes an awareness setting. Read the race tile for car eligibility; a HUD choice is not a vehicle-class requirement.
