To begin a Drag Meet, drive to a starting grid, ready up and launch on the synchronized lights. Match strip length and car class before comparing one run with another.
Decide what you are measuring
The official Shared World guide describes drag strips with different lengths. A launch test and a top-speed test answer different questions, so keep the same strip for a sequence of comparisons. This page does not claim a universal best car or an untested tune code.
Suggested tuning experiment
Use a small comparison log instead of judging a build by one lucky launch.
- Pick one strip and one car build.
- Run several attempts to establish your normal variation.
- Keep the launch procedure consistent.
- Change one setting or upgrade, then repeat on the same strip.
- Compare repeated results and any change in controllability before keeping the modification.
Check seasonal conditions separately
A seasonal Drag Meet objective can specify a class, manufacturer or time. Verify all of them before spending credits. A personal best can still be ineligible for the particular reward you are trying to earn.

Can I compare a quarter-mile result with a longer strip?
Not as the same test. Keep distance and eligibility constant if you are deciding whether a modification helped.
