Drive through a Time Attack circuit’s gantry to begin a Shared World lap. Compare results at the same PI level, then use a consistent car to learn where time is being lost.
Read the comparison before chasing it
The official car-culture article describes circuit leaderboards and weekly resets. A result from another period or PI class is not a like-for-like target. Record the circuit and class alongside the time when comparing attempts.
Suggested practice routine
Choose consistency before changing several parts at once.
- Complete a reference lap in a car you can control.
- Keep its build unchanged for the next few attempts.
- Choose one corner where braking or exit speed feels inconsistent.
- Change only that part of your driving and compare the result.
- When testing an upgrade, write down the new PI so that the comparison remains meaningful.
Seasonal objectives have additional conditions
A Playlist Time Attack can add a car restriction and target time. The ability to drive onto a circuit does not mean your current vehicle will satisfy that objective. Read the event tile before interpreting a fast lap as completion.
