Horizon Play Badges: Track Mode Progress Separately

Quick answer

Horizon Play has its own levels and Badges. The official progression guide describes a Badge every ten ranks up to level 100, with additional Badges tied to mode participation and skills.

Check the right progression screen

A Festival Wristband, a Discover Japan Stamp and a Horizon Play Badge represent different goals. If a Badge has not appeared, inspect its own requirement rather than using your campaign status as evidence that it should already be unlocked.

Suggested Badge pursuit

Choose a requirement you enjoy so progress remains a useful reason to play.

  1. Read the specific Badge’s wording and current progress.
  2. Identify the named mode or skill it requires.
  3. Choose that mode and complete a normal session.
  4. Recheck its progress before committing to a longer grind.
  5. If the counter does not match, record the requirement and activity for support.

Rank and series standing are not interchangeable

The official introduction describes series leaderboards that reset with a new Playlist series. A changing standing is not proof that your permanent progression has been erased. Compare the label on the screen before diagnosing a lost Badge.

These are distinct systems. Read each Badge’s mode or skill requirement; the Gold Festival Wristband is not a substitute for it.
